Terms of Service

Last updated: October 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Estimate2Invoice at estimate2invoice.app (the "Service"), operated by Estimate2invoice LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Estimate2Invoice lets businesses and independent professionals ("Users") create estimates, invoices and change orders, share them with their customers ("Clients"), collect electronic signatures, and accept payments through Stripe. We provide software only. We are not a party to any agreement between a User and a Client, we do not perform, supervise or guarantee any work, and we are not a bank, lender, escrow agent or money transmitter.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and use the Service for business purposes.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping access to your email secure.

3. Your responsibilities as a User

  • You are solely responsible for the content of your estimates, invoices and change orders, including prices, scope, taxes, deposits, terms and notes.
  • You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your business and your contracts with Clients, including licensing, permits, sales tax, consumer-protection and home-improvement contract laws (for example required disclosures, license numbers and cancellation rights). The Service does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice, and default wording in the Service is not a substitute for advice from your own attorney.
  • You must have the right to enter your Clients' information into the Service and to contact them about your work.

4. Electronic signatures and records

Users and Clients agree to sign and receive documents electronically. Electronic signatures made in the Service are intended to have the same effect as handwritten signatures under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and applicable state Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) laws. When a document is signed we record the signer's typed name, drawn signature (if provided), date and time, IP address, and a copy of the content signed. A signed estimate cannot be edited; changes are made through change orders that both the User and the Client sign. You are responsible for deciding whether electronic signatures are appropriate for your transactions.

5. Payments

  • Card payments are processed by Stripe. To accept them you must create a Stripe account and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement. Payments are made directly to your Stripe account. Stripe's processing fees, payouts, refunds, disputes and chargebacks are handled between you and Stripe under Stripe's terms.
  • We charge a platform fee on each card payment collected through the Service: 1% on the Free plan and 0.5% on Pro, deducted automatically from the payment. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing these fees.
  • Payments you record manually (cash, check, Zelle, etc.) are for your records only; we do not process them.

6. Plans and subscriptions

  • The Free plan includes up to 10 new estimates or invoices per calendar month.
  • Pro costs $12 per month or $99 per year, billed in advance through Stripe, and renews automatically until canceled. Promotional prices (such as $1/month for the first 3 months) apply only as stated at signup, then the regular price applies.
  • You can cancel anytime in Settings; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for anything illegal, fraudulent or deceptive; to send spam; to collect payments for goods or services you won't provide; to infringe others' rights; or to interfere with, probe or reverse-engineer the Service. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules or put Clients, Stripe or us at risk.

8. Your content

You own the content you put in the Service. You give us a limited license to host, process, display and transmit it as needed to run the Service for you and your Clients. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to operate and improve the Service.

9. Clients

Clients who open a shared link, sign or pay may do so without an account. Their use of those pages is subject to Sections 4, 5 (as to card payments) and 7 of these Terms. Questions about the work, prices or refunds should go to the User who sent the document.

10. Termination

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law. After deletion we remove your data as described in our Privacy Policy; records held by Stripe are governed by Stripe's policies.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any document or signature will be enforceable in a particular situation.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Estimate2invoice LLC against claims arising from your work, your documents, your dealings with Clients, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
